2013 Masters Golf Pool
                                                       April 11 - 14, 2013

Welcome to the latest incarnation of the pool site! As you’ll see, most of it should remain fairly familiar to you. I’ve made some changes behind the scene – including getting a new domain name – to make the entry process somewhat more automated. It’s still a work-in-progress, but for now you’ll notice after entering that you’ll receive an immediate email response with your team included, and the teams page will update automatically as well. Everything else is pretty much the same. Any difficulties, please let me know.

As always, I’m looking forward to spring and the year’s first major. Tiger is a strong pick, but Rory seems to be rounding into form,  finally. Phil’s playing well, too. Lots of other great candidates for the green jacket this year as usual. Enjoy the golf and the pool. Get your picks in now. Fore!

Congrats to Adam Scott! 2013 Master Champion!!

Congrats to Bryden Suits, Bad Dog Legs, Pool Champ!!

Latest Pool News:  April 14, 2013 – 8:30 PM. Stunning golf today. It’s amazing that it happens every year. I thought it was looking like a playoff, but I thought it’d be at -8. A great finish by both Angel and Adam to boost it to -9. And what a playoff. No one lost it; Adam won it. Great drives, irons, and putts. And in a sense, we all win today. Because now we’ll never have to hear a golf channel commenter talk about the great Aussie Masters drought. Thank-you, Adam.

To the pool, and congratulations go out to pool regular Bryden Suits and his team Bad Dog Legs. Bryden had Adam, Angel, Jason, and Tiger, but he also had a deep bench of 14 players making the cut. Well done. Second place goes to Mr. Lawrie Kaplansky of team Where’s Martin Laird? Obviously, Martin was not required. And alone in third goes to Brad Jackson of team Heating Up.

Thanks for playing everyone. All player and team scores available on the results page here and at the link below. I'll double-check things in the morning, but all is looking well for now. Hopefully we’ll see you at the US Open. Fore!
