2015 Masters Golf Pool

Welcome to the 2015 Masters Golf Pool! We’ve undergone a little renovation here in an effort to move the website into a design that should, hopefully, make updating the site between pools easier, but we’ll see. Hope you enjoy.

To the golf season: I can’t believe we’re back to the typical game of wondering if Tiger’s going to show up to Augusta. It would be surprising if he didn’t, but I suppose he’s balancing the possibility of posting rounds in the 80s. Hard to believe Tiger is chili-dippin’ like the rest of us and is currently standing 96th in the world.

But golf is in good hands as we saw at the Valspar championship with great play by Speith and Reed. Rory is gunning for the green jacket (and a third major in a row), too. Lots of great drama ahead I’m sure. The pool is live! Get your picks in now. Fore!

Latest Pool News: April 12, 2015 – 8:30 PM. Congratulations to Jordan Spieth, 2015 Masters Champion! Was there really any doubt? Jordan played steady and strong, and drained putts as if were a practice round. I’m guessing this will be the first of many. Some decent play by the veterans behind him, but nothing shook Jordan. And despite a closing 73 today, welcome back to Tiger Woods. The reports of his demise appear to be greatly exaggerated.

To the pool, and definitely some excitement. Congratulations to Krista Lee’s team, Sweet Georgia Peach, who was sitting 4th after the third round, but grabbed top spot at -80 in the end. Krista didn’t have Jordan but the combo of Phil, Rose, and McIlroy helped her to the win. (The pool is a team game!) Barry Thompson’s team DA BEAR takes second – Great pool, Barry and Penny. And in third we have a tie between Kim McKenney’s team The Great Smokies and Sandy Middleton’s team The Hawk, and by virtue of the winning score pick, Sandy’s team (-12) takes third over Kim’s (-11).
