2017 Masters Golf Pool

April 3-7, 2017

Yet another pool intro where we’re wondering about the status of Mr. Tiger Woods. A damp squib of a return to active play earlier this year has us all wondering if Tiger’s back can withstand the rigours of tournament play. At the moment, I’m hoping he’s simply mobile.

The golf world moves on, and the young guns are here to play. DJ is looking to add to his trophy case, and Augusta sets up nicely for the long bomber. But Jordan and Rory will have something to say about it. Maybe even Sergio, in a state of pre-marital bliss, might even get that major monkey off his back. And guess who’s 46? Could a Nicklaus-esque Green Jacket be in the cards for Phil? All to be answered shortly.

A Major For Sergio! Finally!

Congrats to Ron Nezan, Team Nezanator, Pool Champ!


Latest Pool News:2017-04-09 17:50:0 Sergio!!! After so many years of near misses and heartbreak, he finally breaks through. Some great golf and despite Rose looking very strong, Sergio managed to hang on for his first major. Congrats!

To the pool: Congrats to his second jacket in a row to Ron Nezan's team, nezanator, that nipped in and took the lead away from Murphy's Magic. Ian McLean's team Twigs and Berries also moves up to nab second alone. James Murphy manages to hang on to third place only with the tie breaker. His winning score pick was -8; teams G-Men (-12) and Creek2 (-14) ended up tied with James.
