What? Another major already? It feels like the Open just finished. Well, at least there’s another opportunity for some major drama. The Open was fun, but it was pretty much just Rory’s to lose, and he was having none of that. At least the Canadian Open put on a good show as Tim Clark took yet another win away from Jim Furyk. And speaking of great battles, Valhalla is the site of that great back-and-forth between Tiger Woods and Bob May, remember that? What ever happened to ol’ Bob you may ask. For the answer check out his story in this short Golf Channel  vid, including some great clips of that duel with Tiger in 2000. And after that, come on back and get your entry into the pool. Latest Pool News: August 10, 2014 - 11:00 PM. Well, that’s more like it. Some thrilling golf today, despite the wet weather delay and the awkward finish on 18 as everyone tried to ensure no reservation changes. Phil was oh-so-close to nabbing another major; Rickie played strong looking for his first; Stenson (and no one picked him in the pool!) was looking like a good bet, too, early on. But Rory announced he wanted another with that brilliant 2nd on 10 to set up eagle and then solid play coming in. Congrats to Rory.

To the pool, and an equally exciting finish: three teams tie at -96! We need to move to the winning score pick to determine the pool winner. Congratulations to Lawrie Kaplansky and team Kappy’s Krew! Lawrie picked the winning score bang-on at -16. Ryan Little’s team, Litzy, had a great four rounds and nabs 2nd with his pick of -12; and Greg White finishes third with a winning score pick of -6. Congrats to our pool winners.
