With the golf season in full gear and one major in the books, it's time for round 2 of my major golf pools -- apologies for mixing my sports metaphors there. Latest Pool News: June 20, 2006:  Wrap up: all your team scores and top 8 players (if you had 8) are now updated on the Pool Teams page. Check out how your team fared or double-check my accounting (advisable - final round scores here.) I double-checked my scores again and they all looked correct. As always, please let me know if something doesn't look right.  Congratulations again to David Bailey who wins his first major (as did Geoff); yours truly places 2nd (first time I'm in the pool money); and Ian McLean who secures third spot with the assistance of his winning score pick. Ian picked +4 as the final score, which was also the highest selection amongst all. A big nod to Carol Scott's team, Elephant Woman, who tied scorewise with Ian. Sorry again for the delay in updating; I decided to place work ahead of my pool adminstrator duties last night ... and then had to watch the Cup final. Great hockey and a sad day for Edmonton. Again, thanks for playing. Hope everyone enjoyed the pool. Cheers. More news here.
