Can the great Australian drought at the US Open be vanquished ... oh, wait a minute, that was the Masters. Aussie Geoff Ogilivy is defending champ. Well, what could the storyline be this major? Perhaps, the great Canadian US Open drought? (Thanks, Dave Barr.) Let's see what maudlin side story the network execs can pull out of their, er, hats this major, and lets hope it doesn't distract from the golf. Will the USGA let up on the guys after the Masters mauling? Don't bet on it. From Tiger's practice round in April he expects it to play tougher than Augusta National. Good luck, pros. To the pool: Dean Pinkham, Dormy Dude, charges to the front in the final round to record his first pool win. Congrats, Dean. There's a tie for second and winning score picks determine the standings: Stephen Lawson, Red's Return, by nature of his +6 winning score guess takes second (only 1 off the winning score of +5).
