I’m guessing Rory is regretting the quick lesson he got from Mike Weir on the range recently. Hopefully, Rory’s game will bounce back before he arrives in San Francisco. But glad to see the  Tiger of old at the Memorial. What a chip, what a fist pump! Tiger is back, and he’s back in the top 5 in the world and in the first category of the pool entry form. Will Tiger start chipping away at Jack’s major record now that he’s tied him in wins? We’ll see. Enjoy the pool everyone. Get your entries in now! Fore!

Latest Pool News: June 18, 2012 - 9:00 AM. Congrats to Webb Simpson, the 2012 US Open champ. Two 68s on weekend, not surprisingly, led him to the top of the podium. I really thought Jim Furyk, the plodder, veteran, and former champ was going to get it done on the early holes, but by the turn and nary a birdie in site, I was a little worried. A great tournmanent, though. Lots of interest from Ernie and Padraig; Graeme stayed in there, and how ‘bout those Cypress trees?

To the pool! Congrats to Barry Thompson’s team, The Bear, and his first pool win! His picks of Graeme, Jim, Padraig, and Ernie led him to victory. In solo second, team Markakos, takes the honours. And a tie for third between The Carl Spacklers and  Jay’s Slashers …. Winning score pick comes into play here and the gopher hunters (-5) triumph over the slashers (-10).
