Phase 4! Golf Pool Re-Opening!

Welcome back to the pool and the second major of the year, the US Open at famed Winged Foot. 2020 has been one mother of a year, and it’s not even over. But thankfully sports are in full swing, keeping us sane, and hopefully nudging us back into a semblance of normalcy.

I quite enjoyed the first major of the year, the PGA, and Collin Morikawa’s emergence into the elite level of the game. The lack of fans — although odd — didn’t distract from some great golf. Let’s hope it will be repeated here during US Open week.

Congrats to Bryson DeChambeau, 2020 US Open Champion

Congrats to Krista Lee, Pool Champ!



Latest Pool News:2020-09-20 06:54:52am Not exactly one for the ages, but congratulations to Bryson DeChambeau, the only player under par in the final round of the US Open. Not surprising he comes out on top. Just solid, steady play. I'm off to the gym and grabbing a protein shake.

To the pool: Congrats to Krista Lee and her team Sweet Georgia Peaches! Krista records her first pool win by one stroke over Laurie Kaplanksy's Kappy's Krew. In third, we have to go to winning score pick -- and it was close -- between Ian McLean's Mercury Blues (-7) and Chris Green's, Greene on the Green (-5). By pool rules, Chris ekes it out for the place.

Also congrats, of sorts, to James Murphy's team Murphy's Magic 2, who picks up the Good Sport award with a winning score of +6, 12 off the pace.

Hope everyone enjoyed the pool. If all goes well, we'll do it all again for a Fall Masters ... craziness!! Fore!!!!
