With Bryson's fall and Rose's ascent among many other changes in the leaderboard, team Matton2 ended up on top! Congrats! Brianna's birdies hung in there for 2nd and Jen's Drive takes third! Congrats all!

2025-04-12 07:50:53pm What a blistering start by Rory to begin our golf viewing day! Corey Connors hung in there and is still in the mix, but all eyes will be on the US Open rematch in the final pairing tomorrow. Should be fun.

To the pool, and a whole new leaderboard! Brianna's Birdies takes the lead at -52, followed by Jen's drive, and shoulda coulda. But lots of golf left to play and expect wild swings in the standings by tomorrow! Or not!

2025-04-11 08:33:25pm Congrats to Rory McIlroy for a great bounce-back round to vault him close to the lead. But Justin Rose maintains it with some great names right behind. Corey Connors still looking good. Should be a fun weekend.

To the pool, and Skull Shot maintains the lead, followed by teams Azaleas and Niners. A surprising number of teams missed the cut this tournament; I haven't checked closely but if I missed something, please let me know.

To the pool, and teams Kuku and Skull shot (I'm familiar) take the lead, but as all veteran poolies know, round 1 is for show, round 2 is for the dough -- cut day.

2025-04-10 12:34:10am Thanks for all the entries folks, we're close to 200! I'm wrapping up Wednesday night, but for you night owls, still a few more hours to submit a team.

My focus was on hockey tonight and my sons' minor hockey game; congrats to the Leaside Flames U17 Gold Select team on their championship victory tonight! It was a wild exciting 3-1 win in the dying seconds.

Hopefully, I can get some sleep to prep for the 1st tomorrow! Hockey is done. On to the golf! Fore!

A few updates to notify the pool about: Chris's team Sweetlouswinners switches out Tiger for Mike Weir on the last hole. As does His Master's Choice. James Murphy, of Murphy's Magic, also switches out Tiger for Freddie Couples. Good luck all!

Congrats to Par 3 winner Nicolas Echavarria, but alas according to tradition he is unlikely to slip on the green jacket. A young tour pro from Columbia who is already a PGA tour winner. I should've done some more research. Fore!!!

One update, Inaugural Champ has switched out Patrick Cantalay on Hole 4 for Sunjae Im.

2025-04-07 08:25:05am Happy Masters week! Hopefully the weather will turn in Augusta today, but overall it's looking fine! Looking forward to the scenes from the course on this chilly Monday morning.

Congrats to Brian Harmon on his victory at the Valspar championship. Can he continue his good play into the first major of the year? Lefties do well at ANC. We'll see.
